Starr and Brice Brawl, League Suspends Them
Monday, September 19th , 2044
If there wasn't a history between Matthew Starr of Minnesota and John Brice of New York, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today.

"We're both really competitive," Starr said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it."

Starr is batting .266 with 7 home runs and 32 RBIs this season.

For the year, Brice has collected no saves in no relief appearances. He has also rung up 175 strikeouts and 68 walks in 162.1 innings while registering a 4.21 ERA and a 13-7 won-lost mark.
