Bellow and Nimmo Suspended 4 Games for Brawl Tuesday, September 20th , 2044 Kai Bellow of the New York Yankees and Mike Nimmo of the Boston Red Sox got into a wrestling match yesterday at Yankee Stadium and now must pay the consequences for violating league rules. They have both been assessed 4-game suspensions by the league for inciting the heated altercation between the two clubs. Thus far this season Bellow is hitting .278 with 11 home runs, 47 RBIs and 48 runs scored. He has 103 hits in 370 at-bats and has played in 119 games. This year Nimmo has 1 save, totaled 58.2 innings, allowed 58 base hits and fashioned a 5.37 ERA while racking up 74 strikeouts and a record of 3 wins and 3 losses. |
