No Late-Season Magic Coming: Montreal Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 29th , 2044 Robb Dixon, the manager of the Montreal Expos, said his players are "devastated" to have missed the playoffs. Today it became official -- the club has run out of games and was mathematically eliminated from qualifying. Montreal last appeared in the postseason in 2033. This is their 11th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 32 times in their 47 - year history. Montreal has won the World Series 2 times in their history. |
