Deal: Osgood for Bowman Friday, November 25th , 2044 Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in Texas and San Diego as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 19-year old minor league RHP Mike Osgood, a 1st round draft pick, a 5th round draft pick, a 7th round draft pick, a 8th round draft pick, and a 9th round draft pick to the Padres and 24-year old CF Andy Bowman, a 15th round draft pick, and a 18th round draft pick to the Rangers. "Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone," stated the San Diego GM. Lifetime Bowman is hitting .281 with 446 hits, 18 home runs, 223 runs scored and 185 RBIs. |
