Oaks Perdomo Dominates Heat

In a seemingly effortless performance, Hector Perdomo of the Oakland Oaks shot down the Kelowna Heat 1-0 on a 5-hit shutout.
"Hector was just locating so well and using his pitches," Oakland manager Matt Orlando said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."
Perdomo recorded 14 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing.
"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Kelowna manager Mitch Newhall said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
So far this year Perdomo has delivered no saves. In 1 relief appearance he has 95 strikeouts in 64.1 innings with a 2.66 ERA and 4 wins and no losses.
