Matsui Cracks 3 HR for Capitals

Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Capitals-Toros game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Victoria first baseman Taki Matsui thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Victoria to a 9-2 win over Tijuana.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Matsui said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Matsui was 4-for-5 on the day with 5 runs batted in.
Taki Matsui hit a solo-shot off Kevin Fleming in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Jordan Amaker in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Bryan Rouse in the 9th.
So far this year in 99 games Matsui is hitting .269 with 41 home runs, 98 RBIs and 79 runs scored.
