Ridin' High: Santanello Hits for Cycle Saturday, October 1st , 2044 In an outing that will go down in the annals of baseball history, Paris first baseman Brad Santanello hit for the cycle today as the Cubs marched to victory over the Canton Indians, 21-13. Santanello collected 4 hits in 5 at-bats, including 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. He added 9 runs batted in and 4 runs scored to help Paris take the Paris Baseball Complex contest. "It was the last thing on my mind, really," Santanello said. "I'm out there trying to get a blooper or a walk or whatever might help the team. Even if I had wanted to, hitting for the cycle is probably as much about luck as about skill anyway."
