McCormick Parks 3 HR in the Seats

In a powerful performance that left the fans at Ballpark of Amarillo buzzing, Americus Braves catcher Josh McCormick blasted a trio of home runs en route to a 7-4 win over the Amarillo ThunderHeads.
"Everything was clicking," McCormick told the press. "My timing was good and I got pitches I could handle and I didn't miss them."
McCormick shined brilliantly in the win, with 4 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's not just one guy, it's everybody," Braves manager Jaime Krempa said. "Josh played great but it takes more than one guy to win a game."
Josh McCormick hit a two-run home run off Bobby Scott in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Bobby Scott in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Mike Osgood in the 10th.
So far this season, McCormick has recorded a .339 batting average with 115 hits, 59 home runs, 145 RBIs, 97 runs scored and a .439 OBP.
