Columbus Goes Hitless Against Black Tuesday, October 4th , 2044 Trois-Riveres Aigles starter Julian Black was unhittable today at Trois-Riveres Community Center. Black beat the Columbus Reds 15-0, breezing through the Reds lineup en route to a no-hitter. "I thought Julian started off a little slow and was struggling with his command at first," Aigles manager Joel Capote said later. "He lucked his way through the early innings, and they helped him out by not being patient. Eventually, it all came together for him, and from there on the Reds never had a chance. He dominated them." Black struck out 18 batters and issued no walks in the performance. To this point in the season Black has 13 wins and 12 losses and a 3.97 ERA. |
