Tuesday, October 11th , 2044
All game long, Windy City's Eddie Reyes was rattling the walls at ThunderBolts Center and banging out base hits against the Columbus Reds. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the ThunderBolts had a 19-0 victory.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 20-year-old center fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Eddie Reyes hit a two-run home run off Brian Trejo in the 2nd, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run triple in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and doubled in the 8th.
Currently Reyes has 11 home runs and a .287 batting average.
