WL Most Valuable Player Award Goes To Bailey

Eric Bailey of the Miami Beach Marlins had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2044.

The 20-year-old right fielder put up a .371 average and a .537 on-base percentage, piling up 167 hits, 17 doubles, 1 triple, 61 home runs, 161 RBIs and 181 runs scored.

He received 30 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Josh McCormick of the Americus Braves finished second in voting, while Dale Young of the Miami Beach Marlins finished third.
