Injury Derails Season for Zong Friday, October 30th , 2043 In a news release, the University of Southern California Trojans announced that starting pitcher Zhao-jun Zong would miss the rest of the season due to shoulder inflammation. Zong sustained the injury on 10/28/2043. He "will be sorely missed," said his manager. Zong has made 11 starts, tossed 48 innings, struck out 16 batters and walked 14. His record is 1-6 with a 6.19 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .337 batting average. |
