Injury Sidelines Yi for Season Wednesday, October 5th , 2044 Si-hun Yi had hoped for the best, but expected the worst. Today, he learned from the University of Oklahoma medical staff that he would miss the rest of the season. The University of Oklahoma starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow in an earlier ballgame. He admitted to being discouraged, but said he plans to come back strong next year. This year Yi has fashioned a 0-3 mark, 7.32 ERA and pitched 19.2 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .376 against him and he has logged 16 strikeouts. |
