League KO's Bulldogs-Huskies Players with 4-Game Suspensions Sunday, October 30th , 2044 The league commissioner's office had responded quickly to yesterday's major incident at Dudy Noble Field involving the Bulldogs Kazuki Arai and the Huskies John Plouffe. Both players have been given 4-game suspensions for violation of the league code of conduct. The suspensions will be effective immediately. For the year Arai has hit .262 with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and scored 23 runs. Plouffe has taken the mound for 6 relief appearances this season, nailing down 1 save while notching a 0-0 record with a 2.70 ERA. The University of Conneticut reliever has limited opposing batters to a .262 batting average. |
