SL2 Star of the Week Named Monday, November 14th , 2044 Shohei Nishi burst onto the Sub League 2 stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie right fielder for University of Minnesota garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 15-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .440 (11-for-25) with 3 home runs and 10 RBIs last week. Thus far this season Nishi is hitting .360 with 12 home runs, 65 RBIs and 62 runs scored. He has 93 hits in 258 at-bats and has played in 71 games. |
