Suspensions Handed Out for Bench-Clearing Brawl Saturday, November 19th , 2044 David Lobacz of Louisiana State University and Jon Fowler of University of Conneticut were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Lobacz will have to miss 3 games for his part in the brawl, while Fowler was given 7 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This year Lobacz has collected a .303 batting average to date with 37 hits in 122 at-bats, 19 RBIs, 2 home runs and scored 19 times. He has played in 43 games. Fowler has taken the mound for 11 relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 0-1 record with a 8.54 ERA. The University of Conneticut reliever has limited opposing batters to a .304 batting average. |
