Kelley and Lopez Suspended 4 Games Tuesday, December 6th , 2044 University of Virginia and Oregon State University team officials have been notified by the league office that the Cavaliers Eric Kelley and the Beavers Jordan Lopez will be suspended 4 games each for their altercation in yesterday's game at Davenport Field. They were the two main combatants in the bench-clearing brawl. In his stats this season, Kelley has posted a batting average of .237 with 49 hits in 207 at-bats, 5 home runs and 31 RBIs. He has also scored 36 runs, walked 26 times and compiled a .324 OBP. For the year Lopez has 25 relief appearances and a 3-3 record with 1 save. He has logged 53 innings and allowed 62 base hits. Opposing clubs have put up a .294 batting average against him. Lopez has rung up 40 strikeouts, surrendered 22 walks and fashioned a 5.60 ERA. |
