Chicago rode a good effort from starter Tadatoki Yoshida to beat the Montreal Expos at U.S. Cellular Field. The final score was 5-0. The win puts Chicago at 25-5.
Yoshida was in the zone all game. He frustrated Montreal hitters while giving the White Sox 7 innings of quality work. Yoshida threw 93 pitches, allowing 1 hit and getting 8 punchouts.
"Tadatoki was Tadatoki," said White Sox manager Larry Stefanski. "We know what we'll get whenever he takes the mound."
