Tortugas Reel Off Another Win
|
Behind an impressive start by Victor Moreno, Daytona beat Palm Beach, 5-1. The Tortugas, now 16-4, have stormed out of the gates.
The Tortugas took the lead in the bottom of the fourth when Vic Berg banged a two-out home run. Daytona had been trailing 1-0, but Berg hit a 0-1 cutter from Alejandro Cardoso for a grand slam home run.
"This team is real focused right now," said Daytona manager Noah Syndergaard.
