Wright Belts Bunch of Base Hits
|
Craig Wright was the King of Swing today at Neuroscience Feild at Fox Cities Stadium today in the 5-4 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers win over the Dayton Dragons. The Wisconsin right fielder stepped into the batter's box 7 times against the Dayton and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him.
"Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-7 isn't bad for your batting average either."
Craig Wright singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th, flied out in the 10th and singled in the 13th.ink]
Wright is hitting .316 so far this season with 30 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 90 hits including 4 home runs, 13 walks and .351 OBP.
