Zielinski, Giants Wallop Brewers, 13-2
|
The San Francisco Giants had no problem beating the Milwaukee Brewers, 13-2, at Miller Park. Sean Zielinski led the way. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for San Francisco. San Francisco pitcher Curt Howland got the win, upping his record to 5-1. Antonio Diaz got the loss. The Giants raised their record to 26-27.
It could have been a different outcome for San Francisco, had it not been for Ryan Braden, the 24-year old left fielder . Braden contributed a 2-run triple in the top of the second inning to put San Francisco up, 3-0.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Zielinski.
