Justice Torches Dodgers for 5 Hits
It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Rich Justice, it came around today.

The 23-year-old third baseman scattered hits all over Gesa Stadium to pace the Tri-City Dust Devils to a 34-3 victory over the Los Angeles (NYP) Dodgers.

Los Angeles (NYP) skipper Scott Sizemore told reporters in the press room that "Justice deserves a hat-tip."

"He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Justice hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit."

Rich Justice hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a two-run triple in the 8th.

This season Justice has hit at a .297 clip with 11 RBIs, 1 home runs and 9 runs scored. He has played in 15 games.
