The Cincinnati Reds downed the Cleveland Indians, 13-8. The hitting star was second baseman Dave Barefoot. Barefoot went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Reds. Takashi Kashiwabara converted his 2nd save in 2 tries.

It could have been a different outcome for Cincinnati, had it not been for Sean Geisler, the 2035 Rookie of the Year Award winner . Geisler contributed a 2-run single in the top of the third inning to put Cincinnati up, 7-3.

"We've got guys willing to do what it takes to win," Barefoot told the Cincinnati Herald.

With the win, Cincinnati upped its record to 34-33.
