Altieri Dominant in Toronto Win
Rogers Centre was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

The Toronto Blue Jays picked up a win at Rogers Centre, taking down the Texas Rangers, 2-0. Starting pitcher Matt Altieri was a big reason why. Bobby Wright was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 10 of 12 save opportunities.

Altieri, who was born in New York, threw 104 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no runs.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Juan Smith. "That was the problem."

The triumph puts Toronto at 48-26 for the season.
