Cohen Bangs Out 5 Base Hits
It was high-fives all around for Chris Cohen at Bailey-Brayton Field today.

He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Washington State University Cougars. Cohen smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 11-5 win.

"Chris was hitting everything," said Buckeyes manager Travis Chick. "It really was a special game for him."

In the opposing dugout, Cougars manager Jonathan Gonzales told BNN beat writers that Cohen "ambushed" the club.

"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Cohen oversleeps next time."

Chris Cohen doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Shane Robinson in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.

This year Cohen has hit at a .276 clip with 17 RBIs, 4 home runs and 6 runs scored.
