Cincinnati right fielder Jon Ledesma had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-5, to Milwaukee at Great American Ball Park. Ledesma went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. John York was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 9 save opportunities. The Brewers raised their record to 29-46.

Milwaukee used the clutch hitting of Daniel Donovan to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Brewers ahead, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Donovan told the Milwaukee Citizen.
