Astros Nip Orioles, 2-1
|
In a low-scoring contest, Houston pitcher Brian Thomas was marvelous in his team's 2-1 win. Houston now has a 3-game win streak.
Bryce Hill was the walk-off hero for Houston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Astros right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"We bring energy to every game," said losing manager Jim White. "But it's got to translate into wins."
