Dodgers Get Past Miami for 3-2 Win
|
Los Angeles pitcher Ray Scifo did his part in helping his team beat the Miami Marlins, 3-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The win was credited to Chut-sai Teoh in relief. His record improves to 1-5. Alberto Negrete took the loss. Los Angeles, with the win, sits at 26-49.
Chris Ringwood, the 5th overall pick in the 2033 draft, aided the Los Angeles cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 3 with a walk.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Los Angeles manager Shad Snyder. "It's usually not just one thing."
