Rangers Make It 4 In a Row with 5-2 Triumph Over Cleveland
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Cleveland Indians and Texas Rangers get after it.
The Texas Rangers picked up a win at Globe Life Park in Arlington, knocking off the Cleveland Indians, 5-2. Starting pitcher Javy Falcon was a big reason why. Falcon got the win, improving to 12-4. He allowed 8 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. Falcon allowed 2 runs.
In the bottom of the first, Juan Concepcion hit a bases-clearing double. The 4th double of the season for the Texas right fielder put the Rangers on top, 3-0.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Falcon said after the game.
Texas goes to 56-27. The win puts them 4½ games up in their division.
