Who Says Nobody's Perfect?
Fans at Niagara Falls Casino & Resort today were the lucky witnesses to a feat so rare, so spectacular, that it is certain to go down in the annals of baseball history. Canton Indians starter pitched nine unblemished innings for a perfect game against the Niagara Falls Phantoms.

The Canton hurler struck out 20 and walked none while making history, defeating Niagara Falls 19-0. He sat down 27 batters in order.

After a game like that, Liza would have been forgiven for going a little wild, but the 21-year-old was the picture of calm as he sat with reporters after the game.

"I'm thrilled," he said. "This is a dream come true."

Liza has made 9 starts this season, posting 3 wins and 2 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .167 against him and he has 90 strikeouts in 60 innings with a 1.95 ERA.
