Orioles Come Up Short at Boston, 4-3
|
Boston starter Jeremy Hernandez pitched well against the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Guadalupe Vasguez converted his 13th save in 16 tries. With the victory, the Red Sox upped their record to 53-42.
Cesar Breceda, who signed a 5-year contract worth $175,000,000 on 01/11/2045, aided the Boston cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman was 1-2 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 times.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Baltimore manager Jim White said following the tough loss.
