Chamberlain Bangs Out 5 Base Hits
It was high-fives all around for Mike Chamberlain at Niagara Falls Casino & Resort today.

He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Niagara Falls Phantoms. Chamberlain smashed 5 hits in 7 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 33-0 win.

"Mike was hitting everything," said Majors manager Andrew Albers. "It really was a special game for him."

In the opposing dugout, Phantoms manager Richard Hauser told BNN beat writers that Chamberlain "ambushed" the club.

"Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Chamberlain oversleeps next time."

Mike Chamberlain tripled in the 1st, walked in a run in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Alex Ramirez in the 8th.

This season Chamberlain has hit at a .303 clip with 25 RBIs, 4 home runs and 32 runs scored.
