Chapple Bewilders Phantoms in 22-0 Shutout
It wasn't easy but Tristan Chapple made it look that way.

Chapple silenced the Niagara Falls Phantoms, 22-0, in a Windy City ThunderBolts triumph at ThunderBolts Center today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Chapple said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up no walks and 3 hits.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."

This year Chapple has notched no saves. He has 77 strikeouts and 60 walks in 129.1 innings while registering a 4.52 ERA and a 10-5 won-lost record.
