It was a parade of hits for Ron Squires of the Amarillo ThunderHeads at Palm Beach Ballpark today.

Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Squires finished the day with a total of 7 hits in 8 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the ThunderHeads to a 34-1 victory.

"Squires was really good and we were really bad," groaned Nationals manager Clancy Wilkins. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
