Enrique Valdez of the Capitals was unstoppable in today's 32-3 victory over the Palm Beach Nationals at Ballpark of Victoria. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.

"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Victoria second baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-5 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."

Enrique Valdez hit a solo-shot off Johnny Busse in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Scott Merritt in the 4th, walked in the 5th, walked in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jimmy Purscell in the 8th and walked in a run in the 8th.
