Hitting a single home run is a tough task. Hitting two in a game is impressive. Hitting three is remarkable. Anything beyond that is borderline unbelievable -- yet that's what Jerry Foster did today in the 14-5 Amarillo ThunderHeads victory over the Kelowna Heat.

Foster went 4-for-4 with 4 home runs and drove in 8 runs in a once-in-a-lifetime feat that the opposing manager later labeled "impossible."

"I don't believe it really happened," Heat manager Ian Beeching joked to BNN reporters afterward. "I don't ever enjoy losing a game, but this kid was special today. I have never seen a guy hit 4 in a game before. I didn't enjoy it, but it was special."

Jerry Foster hit a two-run home run off Wally Dethridge in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Wally Dethridge in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Mike Flynn in the 4th, walked in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Christian Rogers in the 8th.

Foster is hitting .365 for the season with 31 home runs, 113 RBIs and 88 runs scored. He has 112 hits in 307 at-bats and played in 74 games.
