Orioles Lose to Expos, 5-4
|
The Montreal Expos topped the Baltimore Orioles, 5-4, in American League action at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The standout performance belonged to Montreal pitcher and Bartlesville, Oklahoma, native Kyle Schlosschlonghair. The win elevated the Expos to 99-53.
Montreal used the bat of Austin Ohmer to get the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Expos ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Schlosschlonghair.
