Marlins Upend Phillies, 5-3
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Miami Marlins and Philadelphia Phillies.
Miami first baseman Greg Herzig helped his team beat the Philadelphia Phillies, 5-3. Herzig went 4 for 5 for the Marlins. John Bialon recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 5 for 6.
Miami used the bat of Justin Huff to get the win. The third baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Marlins ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"It was a good effort all around," said Herzig.
Miami, with the win, is 47-109.
