Dodgers Beat Rockies, 9-5
|
The Los Angeles Dodgers knocked off the Colorado Rockies, 9-5, at Dodger Stadium. Nate Taylor was a big reason Los Angeles won. The shortstop went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Los Angeles reliever Miguel Arguello picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Tony Campos took the loss. Josh Ramirez earned the save, his 12th, for the Dodgers.
Danny Dyer, who finished 3rd in the AL in home runs with 42 in 2041, contributed to the Los Angeles win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Taylor said.
Today's win puts Los Angeles at 66-90, while Colorado falls to 62-94.
