Boston and New York duked it out and the Red Sox came out victorious.

No one was more impactful than Brent Albertson in the 7-5 Boston win over New York. Albertson was 2-4 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. Adam Schneidewind picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 10-3. Soh Kawashima was tagged with the loss. Guadalupe Vasguez earned his 22nd save in 26 chances.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the seventh when Albertson hit a 2-run single. It propelled the Red Sox into the lead, 7-5.

"Enjoyed this one," Albertson told the Boston Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

With the victory, the Red Sox upped their record to 84-74.
