White Sox Walk It Off for 2nd Win of Season
|
Chicago White Sox starter Xenophon Valvis was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Pittsburgh Pirates, 5-2. The defeat makes Pittsburgh 1-2.
Antonio Figueroa was the walk-off hero for Chicago. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the White Sox second baseman hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Valvis.
