Rockies Lose to Athletics in Walk Off
|
Shelby Rich never let the Rockies get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his circle change, to pitch the Athletics to a win, 3-1. The Athletics raised their record to 1-7.
Rich Muniz was the walk-off hero for Oakland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Athletics left fielder hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Muniz said after the game.
