5 Straight Wins for Expos
|
The Montreal Expos picked up a win at Quebecor Stadium, knocking off the Kansas City Royals, 7-2. Starting pitcher Tommy Hall played a key role in the triumph. The win has Montreal at 13-7.
The Expos got a big at-bat from center fielder Austin Ohmer. For the game, Ohmer went 1-3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Montreal a 2-0 lead.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Ohmer. "And not try to do too much."
