Late Rally by Brewers Secures 10-2 Win
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Milwaukee Brewers and Arizona Diamondbacks.
Milwaukee pitcher Oleg Bahanov did his part in helping his team beat the Arizona Diamondbacks, 10-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Malibok Fflunker picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Willie Nieto was tagged with the loss.
The outcome might have been different for Milwaukee, had it not been for Noah Stanley, the 26-year old shortstop . Stanley stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put Milwaukee up, 3-2. For the game, he was 4 for 5, including 1 double and 3 singles.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Stanley said.
The defeat makes Arizona 13-10.
