White Sox Win at New York, 7-3
|
Getting a good performance from catcher Leo Navarro, the Chicago White Sox defeated the New York Yankees, 7-3. Navarro went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the White Sox. Zach Ault was credited with the save for Chicago, his 7th of the season. The Yankees drop to 14-15 and continue their mediocre start to the 2045 season.
Chicago relied on the bat of Brian Feher to get the win. The left fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the White Sox ahead, 4-0. For the game, Feher had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.
"I felt good up there," said Navarro. "I saw the ball well."
