Big Day with Bat: Brown 6-for-8
It seemed that Burlington center fielder Butch Brown could do no wrong as the Bees KO'd the Legends, 38-0 today. Brown rapped out 6 hits in 8 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Legends hurlers were throwing.

"I think the Bees were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Lexington fan after the game.

"I just felt good today. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Brown in the postgame press interview.

Butch Brown grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Ron Bubar in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Ron Bubar in the 3rd, walked in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Ron Bubar in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Ron Bubar in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.

So far this year Brown has hit .259 with 4 home runs, 32 RBIs and 37 runs scored.
