Early Season End for Lerner Sunday, January 8th , 2045 Phil Lerner had to wait several agonizing days to find out his diagnosis after suffering a broken bone in the elbow on 01/06/2045. Today he received word from the Lake Elsinore doctor that he would be out the rest of the year. Team officials called it a huge setback but something they would have to overcome. Lerner is presently hitting at a .238 pace with no home runs and 0 RBIs. He has played in 9 games and scored 4 times. |
