5-for-5 Game for Carter Tuesday, January 17th , 2045 Frederick Keys second baseman Travis Carter went ballistic today with the bat. He hammered the Myrtle Beach Pelicans for 5 hits and drove Frederick to a 12-1 win over Myrtle Beach at Harry Grove Stadium. Travis Carter singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jose Ramirez in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Julio Arteaga in the 4th, singled in the 5th and singled in the 8th. This year Carter is hitting .324 with 7 home runs and 13 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .387 clip and scored 20 runs. |
