Threshers Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, January 19th , 2045 Looking at the bigger picture, Jaylen Johnson of the Clearwater Threshers said he's excited for what's to come in the years ahead for his squad. But in the present, he said, the club is quite disappointed with the realization today that they are now mathematically out of playoff contention for the 2044 season. The Threshers have missed the playoffs 21 times in their 29 years as a California Winter League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 6th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2038. In the last 10 seasons, the Threshers have only made the playoffs once. |
