Stockton Sweeps into the Round 3 Wednesday, February 1st , 2045 The Stockton Ports are on to the Round 3 after a convincing series win over the Palm Beach Cardinals. Stockton wrapped up the series sweep with a 5-4 win in the last game, to take the series 3-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Edgar Landim, who was named series MVP. For the series, Landim hit .300 with a .300 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Stockton Ports don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Daytona Tortugas - Tampa Yankees series. Daytona leads the series 2 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
